G — I’m stuck.

And marriage, does that get easier?

M — It’s hard.

We established that we have no communication.

It gets complicated when you have kids… But, it’s great being with them,

after they can talk, and can do things with you.

G — That’s nice.

My parents were always traveling, they weren’t around so much.

M — Where’d you grow up?

G — In D.

C., my dad was the Ambassador to France in the eighties, so we went to school

in Paris for a few years…

but we mostly lived in D.

C., and they were never around…

and then I moved to Los Angeles when John and I got married…

it’s so different there.

G — Does that get easier?

M — No.

G — Sono bloccato.

E il matrimonio, diventa più facile?

M — È difficile.

Abbiamo stabilito che non abbiamo comunicazione.

Diventa complicato quando hai figli... Ma è bello stare con loro,

dopo che possono parlare e possono fare cose con te.

G — È carino.

I miei genitori erano sempre in viaggio, non erano molto in giro.

M — Dove sei cresciuto?

G — In D.

C., mio papà era l'ambasciatore in Francia negli anni ottanta, quindi siamo andati a scuola

a Parigi da qualche anno...

ma abitavamo principalmente a D.

C., e non sono mai stati in giro...

e poi mi sono trasferito a Los Angeles quando io e John ci siamo sposati...

è così diverso lì.

G — Diventa più facile?

M.— No.
