In the middle of the journey,

I came to myself.

In the dark forest,

Where the strange word was lost,

Where the true word no longer might be seen,

I find myself within a shirey wood.

Where the straight cast is lost in tangled ways —

in darkness.

Where the right path which guided me was lost.

I lost astray a narrow path to stray,

I find myself within a shirey wood,

vansihed in the maze.

Nel mezzo del viaggio,

Sono tornato in me.

Nella foresta oscura,

Dove la strana parola è stata persa,

Dove la vera parola non si potrebbe più vedere,

Mi trovo in un bosco di Shirey.

Dove il cast diretto si perde in modi aggrovigliati —

nell'oscurità.

Nel mezzo del viaggio,

Mi trovo in un bosco di inclinazione,

Dove la strada giusta che mi ha guidato si è persa.

Dove la vera parola non si potrebbe più vedere.

Ho smarrito un sentiero stretto per smarrirmi,

Dove il sentiero rettilineo si perdeva in vie intricate.

Mi trovo in un bosco shirey,

scomparso nel labirinto.
