You said tonight would be fun, just like when we were 21.

The same overdressed girls the same terrible beer, but if I’m true to form

insert some snarky joke here.

You vowed to see women never, then vow to love us forever.

You said ignore what you feel.

Stop your heart, it isn’t real.

But I don’t wanna stop my heart from beating, and I can’t stop my blood from

over heating, and I’ll never stop all men from cheating.

What is a poem, but a meaningless token?

What are your feelings if they’re all unspoken?

What is a heart for if it can’t be broken?

You say I’m foolish if I give them one more chance, and maybe I’m a fool to

want another dance.

We danced in Brabant once, we had that chance before.

But dances end and chances slip out through the door.

Can’t we just say what we mean, and mean what we say?

Or do we have to wear masks and put on a play?

If you want to act like fools, I hope you have fun.

Cause this fool is out.

This time I’m done.

Hai detto che stasera sarebbe stato divertente, proprio come quando avevamo 21 anni.

Le stesse ragazze troppo vestite, la stessa terribile birra, ma se sono fedele alla forma

inserire qualche battuta irriverente qui.

Hai promesso di non vedere mai le donne, poi hai promesso di amarci per sempre.

Hai detto di ignorare quello che senti.

Ferma il tuo cuore, non è reale.

Ma non voglio impedire al mio cuore di battere e non posso fermare il mio sangue

surriscaldamento, e non impedirò mai a tutti gli uomini di barare.

Cos'è una poesia, se non un segno privo di significato?

Quali sono i tuoi sentimenti se sono tutti inespressi?

A cosa serve un cuore se non può essere spezzato?

Dici che sono sciocco se do loro un'altra possibilità, e forse sono uno sciocco a

voglio un altro ballo

Abbiamo ballato nel Brabante una volta, abbiamo avuto questa possibilità prima.

Ma i balli finiscono e le possibilità sfuggono alla porta.

Non possiamo semplicemente dire ciò che intendiamo e intendere ciò che diciamo?

Oppure dobbiamo indossare maschere e mettere in scena uno spettacolo?

Se vuoi comportarti come uno sciocco, spero che tu ti diverta.

Perché questo sciocco è fuori.
