I guess my progress hasn’t gone quite right

Taking pills and reading books to just escape the day

Sometimes it scares me yet it feels so right

It’s only the beginning but I’m ready for the end

Is it best to fight and lose or never fight at all

You never want to say you lost the game cause you couldn’t win them all

Is it best to dream a dream and hide it from yourself

Or are you better off to take that chance and do the best you can

Prendere pillole e leggere libri per semplicemente sfuggire alla giornata

Cosa posso dire

Forse sono perso

Forse ho paura di vedere la verità

Sono come un fantasma che vaga su questa terra

Mi sento cieco

Sono un incendio estinto prima del tempo

Quindi questo è come ci si sente a perdere la cognizione del tempo

A volte mi spaventa, eppure mi sembra così giusto

È solo l'inizio, ma sono pronto per la fine

Cosa posso dire

È meglio combattere e perdere o non combattere mai

Non vuoi mai dire di aver perso la partita perché non sei riuscita a vincerle tutte

È meglio sognare un sogno e nasconderlo a te stesso

Oppure è meglio cogliere questa possibilità e fare il meglio che puoi
