Waiting as mountains come and go

I want to find a better home inside my skin

These ancient textures took their hold so long ago

They built their walls and they don’t want to let me in

But I keep falling

Keep going

Keep writing these poems

To find out what’s frozen inside of me

So let me in these moments

Let me begin the healing

Let me fix what’s broken

And melt away your wounds

Let me be your father

Let me take care of you

Let go of yourself and I’ll show you what love can do

Forging my path along the snow

The day comes in and keeps me warm but not for long

I thought by now that I would know

How deep the layers of my armour really go

But I keep falling

Keep going

Keep writing these poems

Fall

I still fall the same

I still fall for the same old stories

Like it’s all a game

And all

Ya we’re all the same

I don’t go but my shame goes for me Into that deepened cave

Aspettando che le montagne vadano e vengano

Voglio trovare una casa migliore dentro la mia pelle

Queste antiche trame hanno preso piede così tanto tempo fa

Hanno costruito i loro muri e non vogliono farmi entrare

Ma continuo a cadere

Continuare

Continua a scrivere queste poesie

Per scoprire cosa è congelato dentro di me

Quindi fammi in questi momenti

Lasciami cominciare la guarigione

Fammi riparare ciò che è rotto

E scioglie le tue ferite

Fammi essere tuo padre

Lascia che mi prenda cura di te

Lasciati andare e ti mostrerò cosa può fare l'amore

Forgiando il mio sentiero lungo la neve

Il giorno arriva e mi tiene caldo ma non a lungo

Ormai pensavo che l'avrei saputo

Quanto sono profondi gli strati della mia armatura

Ma continuo a cadere

Non vado, ma la mia vergogna va per me in quella caverna più profonda
