Come, ye sinners, poor and wretched

Weak and wounded, sick and sore;

Jesus, ready, stands to save you

Full of pity, joined with power

God’s free bounty glorify;

True belief and true repentance

Every grace that brings you nigh

Sinners Jesus came to call

'Tis the Spirit’s rising beam

The Incarnate God, ascended;

Pleads the merit of His blood

Venture on Him;

venture wholly

Let no other trust intrude

None but Jesus, none but Jesus

Can do helpless sinners good

Venite, peccatori, poveri e miserabili

Debole e ferito, malato e dolorante;

Gesù, pronto, sta per salvarti

Pieno di commiserazione, unito al potere

Non lasciare che la coscienza ti faccia indugiare

Né di idoneità sogno affettuoso;

Tutta la forma fisica di cui ha bisogno

È sentire il tuo bisogno di Lui

Questo ti dà, questo ti dà

È il raggio ascendente dello Spirito

Ecco!

Il Dio incarnato, asceso;

Supplica il merito del suo sangue

Avventurati su Lui;

avventurarsi del tutto

Non lasciare che nessun'altra fiducia si intrometta

Nessuno tranne Gesù, nessuno tranne Gesù

Può fare del bene ai peccatori indifesi
