I woke up this morning, got out of my bed

I looked around this is that I said,

thank you Lord, For the blood You shed

You put a roof, up over my head

Thank you Lord, for another day

and all the blessings, you send my way

Coulda been dead, sleeping in my grave

But you told death, Get back and behave…

Another Blessing

Never seen, the righteous forsaken

Nor his seed, begging for bread

I can count on God, he won’t let me down

Always do, just what he said now

Pain and sufferin', He brought me through

Arms open wide, always welcome you

I’ve been blessed, soooo many ways

I just lift my hands, and give him all the praise

I got my legs, and I can walk (Another blessing)

I got my tongue ya’ll, and I can talk (Another Blessing)

Even the air that I recieve, I got my lungs ya’ll and I can breathe (Another

Blessing)

When I looks around I can see, all of the blessings, he’s given me

I see my family all doing fine, he gave me peace, gave me peace of mind

Thank God

Mi svegliai stamattina, mi alzai dal letto

Mi sono guardato intorno, questo è che ho detto,

grazie Signore, per il sangue che hai versato

Hai messo un tetto, sopra la mia testa

Grazie Signore, per un altro giorno

e tutte le benedizioni, mi invii

Poteva essere morto, dormire nella mia tomba

Ma hai detto alla morte, Torna indietro e comportati bene...

Un'altra benedizione

Mai visto, il giusto abbandonato

Né il suo seme, mendicando il pane

Posso contare su Dio, non mi deluderà

Fai sempre, proprio quello che ha detto ora

Dolore e sofferenza, Egli mi ha portato a superare

Braccia spalancate, vi accolgo sempre

Sono stato benedetto, in tanti modi

Alzo semplicemente le mani e gli do tutti gli elogi

Ho le mie gambe e posso camminare (un'altra benedizione)

Ho la mia lingua e posso parlare (un'altra benedizione)

Anche l'aria che ricevo, ho i miei polmoni e posso respirare (un altro

Benedizione)

Quando mi guardo intorno, vedo, tutte le benedizioni che mi ha dato

Vedo che la mia famiglia sta bene, mi ha dato la pace, mi ha dato la tranquillità
