In the wilderness

In the wilderness

He calls his sons and daughters

To the wilderness

And he gives grace sufficient

To survive any test

And that’s the themeful (?) purpose of the wilderness

In the wilderness we wander

In the wilderness we weep

The wasteland of our wanting

Where the darkness seems so deep

We search for the beginning, for an exodus to hold

We find that those who follow him, must often walk alone

In the wilderness we’re wandering

For a way to understand

In the wilderness there’s not a way

For the way to become a man

And become the exodus, the way to holy ground

But wandering in the wilderness is the best way to be found

Groaning and growing amidst the desert days

The windy winter wilderness can blow the self away

And that’s the themeful (?) promise of the wilderness

E dà grazia sufficiente

Per sopravvivere a qualsiasi test

E questo è lo scopo tematico (?) della natura selvaggia

Nel deserto vaghiamo

Nel deserto piangiamo

La terra desolata del nostro desiderio

Dove l'oscurità sembra così profonda

Cerchiamo l'inizio, un esodo da tenere

Troviamo che chi lo segue, spesso deve camminare da solo

Nel deserto stiamo vagando

Per un modo per capire

Nel deserto non c'è un modo

Per il modo in cui diventare un uomo

E diventa l'esodo, la via verso la terra santa

Ma vagare nel deserto è il modo migliore per farsi trovare

Gemendo e crescendo in mezzo ai giorni del deserto

Il ventoso deserto invernale può spazzare via il sé

E questa è la promessa tematica (?) del deserto
