Ó, tagaig' uile is adhraigí

An leanbh cneasta sa chró 'na luí

Is cuimhnígí ar ghrá an Rí

Good people all, this Christmas time,

Consider well and bear in mind

What our good God for us has done

In sending his beloved son

With Mary holy we should pray,

To God with love this Christmas Day

In Bethlehem upon that morn,

There was a blessed Messiah born

Near Bethlehem did shepherds keep

Their flocks of lambs and feeding sheep

To whom God’s angel did appear

Which put the shepherds in great fear

Prepare and go, the angels said

To Bethlehem, be not afraid

For there you’ll find, this happy morn

A princely babe, sweet Jesus, born

With thankful heart and joyful mind

The shepherds went the babe to find

And as God’s angel had foretold

They did our Saviour Christ behold

Within a manger he was laid

And by his side a virgin maid

Attending on the Lord of Life

Who came on earth to end all strife

Brave persone tutte, questo periodo di Natale,

Considera bene e tieni presente

Ciò che il nostro buon Dio ha fatto per noi

Nell'inviare il suo amato figlio

Con Maria santa dobbiamo pregare,

A Dio con amore questo giorno di Natale

A Betlemme quel mattino,

C'era un Messia benedetto nato

Vicino a Betlemme si tenevano i pastori

I loro greggi di agnelli e pascolano le pecore

Al cui apparve l'angelo di Dio

Il che mise i pastori in grande paura

Preparati e vai, dissero gli angeli

A Betlemme, non aver paura

Perché lì troverai, questo felice mattino

Un bambino principesco, dolce Gesù, nato

Con cuore grato e mente gioiosa

I pastori andarono a cercare il bambino

E come aveva predetto l'angelo di Dio

Hanno fatto vedere il nostro Salvatore Cristo

Fu deposto in una mangiatoia

E al suo fianco una vergine serva

Assistere al Signore della Vita

Che è venuto sulla terra per porre fine a tutti i conflitti
