My mind goes blank

Whenever I try to make some sense

I can’t make me think

Not tonight

So all I can do is react

I’m all out of reason

I’ve got nothing left

So what the hell am I after anyway?

I’m not solving this, no way

If I could have put you away I would have put you away

Just shut you out, it would already been done

But I said nothing when I know I should

I never thought it’d come to this

And I did nothing when I know I could

I’ve a mountain of salt taken just for you

I feel so blank, the situation has taken a turn

And things may not get back to better

Better to have tried than to never
