I don’t do well if I’m kept behind

This office desk inside

It makes me loose my mind

Which wanders endlessly

Where all the birds fly freely

With their silhouettes

In perfect symmetry

I got a pocketful of poetry

I’ve got a head full of songs

A heart with wings

You couldn’t tie me down to anything

And that’s enough for me

I draw doodles of eccentric faces

In the margin spaces

Of important papers

Then I hand them in

With a comedic grin

They ask if I need help

Oh, where do I begin'

I got a pocketful of poetry

People all good lovingly they tell me

Do as you should, all will be well, they say

Life is a test, please give the best answer

A or B or C, pick one instantly

What if there’s so much more to me'

Non vado bene se vengo tenuto indietro

Questa scrivania da ufficio all'interno

Mi fa perdere la testa

Che vaga all'infinito

Dove tutti gli uccelli volano liberamente

Con le loro sagome

In perfetta simmetria

Ho un sacco di poesie

Ho la testa piena di canzoni

Un cuore con le ali

Non potevi legarmi a nulla

E questo mi basta

Disegno scarabocchi di facce eccentriche

Negli spazi a margine

Di carte importanti

Poi li consegno

Con un sorriso comico

Mi chiedono se ho bisogno di aiuto

Oh, da dove comincio

Ho un sacco di poesie

Ho la testa piena di canzoni

Un cuore con le ali

Non potevi legarmi a nulla

E questo mi basta

Le persone tutte buone amorevolmente mi dicono

Fai come dovresti, andrà tutto bene, dicono

La vita è una prova, per favore dai la risposta migliore

A o B o C, scegline uno all'istante

E se c'è così molto di più per me"
