habitually I would leave the room to read but surely

a tiny little pile of dark roast grounds where I once stood just enough there

to keep me safe

Rained-out, wrapped right up in our metaphorical overpriced ponchos,

endless rides home, circling the block for the whisper of a word we didn’t know

how to use in a sentence.

Saw you, went home, drank myself silly in the basement alone

and the spiders were showing off a sense of humor on the ceiling

spinning letters together

lost boy,

watching a grown man drink to 11 to 11 a.(m)pire,

old joy, but everything is changing even faster than it was back

then you hold me it feels like I am finally closing my eyes after a year and a

half long day

occhi strabici,

abitualmente lasciavo la stanza per leggere ma sicuramente

un piccolo mucchio di fondi di arrosto scuro dove una volta stavo lì quel tanto che bastava

per tenermi al sicuro

Piovoso, avvolto nei nostri metaforici poncho costosissimi,

infinite corse verso casa, girando intorno all'isolato per il sussurro di una parola che non conoscevamo

come utilizzare in una frase.

Ti ho visto, sono tornato a casa, ho bevuto stupidamente nel seminterrato da solo

e i ragni stavano sfoggiando un senso dell'umorismo sul soffitto

filare le lettere insieme

guardare un uomo adulto bere alle 11:00 alle 11:00 (m)pire,

vecchia gioia, ma tutto sta cambiando ancora più velocemente di quanto fosse tornato

poi mi tieni sembra che io stia finalmente chiudendo gli occhi dopo un anno e un anno

mezza giornata

e sono stanco da morire e così vicino a te, sappi che mi tieni al sicuro.
