Lineage - Momentum

Humanity, curious and fearful of its own existence

seeking place and purpose, in directions moving endlessly forward

yet side to side dodging inevitable truths

seemingly alone in a vast expanse of nothingness, both outside and within

from birth to death, longing for guidance and security

and all the while hoping these things will be found upon the earth

and yet we gaze to the stars for connection

points of fire above, reflecting points of inspired hope within

we breathe deep into the night, terrified of the darkness

motivations become twisted when insecurity takes control

to be corrupted is the easy path, but the real answer has been there all along

the stars are ancestors, forecasting the future for us through their sense of

eternity

perhaps we are destined to follow them through the sky

transforming over immense stretches of time so vast

they make our entire history seem like a drop of water in an endless sea

stars have shaped every facet of our being

we owe our existence and continued survival to daydreams at night

to spheres of super heated gasses that crowd the night sky

offering a sense of endless distance and calm

seen as forefathers and gods, mothering and close

from afar the turbulent expulsion of matter and energy from the inception of

the universe, brings from their first moments, atom bound to atom

cast out from their celestial womb, molded by the vigorous hand of gravity

a release of elemental power, forming suns, cooling into planets

the worlds within.

so intrinsic to our being, yet so simple at the core

the explanation always above us, radiating heat and light

the fundamental truth, that within us the radiance

our brilliance reflected, do we dare to let ourselves know

that we, at our core

we are made of stars.

L'umanità, curiosa e timorosa della propria esistenza

cercando luogo e scopo, in direzioni che avanzano all'infinito

eppure schivando le inevitabili verità

apparentemente solo in una vasta distesa di nulla, sia all'esterno che all'interno

dalla nascita alla morte, bramando guida e sicurezza

e per tutto il tempo sperando che queste cose si trovino sulla terra

eppure guardiamo le stelle per la connessione

punti di fuoco in alto, che riflettono punti di speranza ispirata all'interno

respiriamo profondamente nella notte, terrorizzati dall'oscurità

le motivazioni si contorcono quando l'insicurezza prende il controllo

essere corrotti è il percorso facile, ma la vera risposta è sempre stata lì

le stelle sono antenati, predicendo il futuro per noi attraverso il loro senso di

eternità

forse siamo destinati a seguirli nel cielo

trasformandosi in immense distese di tempo così vaste

fanno sembrare tutta la nostra storia come una goccia d'acqua in un mare infinito

le stelle hanno plasmato ogni aspetto del nostro essere

dobbiamo la nostra esistenza e la continua sopravvivenza ai sogni ad occhi aperti notturni

a sfere di gas surriscaldati che affollano il cielo notturno

offrendo un senso di infinita distanza e calma

visti come antenati e dèi, genitori e parenti

da lontano la turbolenta espulsione di materia ed energia fin dall'inizio

l'universo, porta dai loro primi istanti, atomo legato all'atomo

scacciati dal loro grembo celeste, plasmati dalla vigorosa mano della gravità

un rilascio di potere elementare, formando soli, raffreddandosi in pianeti

i mondi dentro.

così intrinseco al nostro essere, eppure così semplice al centro

la spiegazione sempre sopra di noi, irradiando calore e luce

la verità fondamentale, che dentro di noi lo splendore

la nostra brillantezza riflessa, osiamo farci sapere

che noi, al nostro centro

siamo fatti di stelle.
