The Sermon (Intro) - Moonshine Bandits

You see, some might say that God’s presence is conditional

That he’s only there when you’re making the right decision

But he takes off somehow when you self-destruct or when you got a little bit

crazy

But see my Bible says something different

My Bible tells me, Jesus said, «lo, I am with you always, even till the end of

the earth»

David prayed, «Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

you are with me, and I will not fear you»

So the question is not one of whether God sticks around

Oh, he’s with us, he’s always with us, I think he answered that question

But there is a question that has to be answered

And that’s a question that you and I must ponder and answer

And it isn’t answered with a word, it’s answered with our life

And that question is… In light of knowing that God is with us always

And in light of knowing that he sees us always

How are we going to respond with our path?

That is the question that we must ponder

And that is the question that we must answer

And that is the journey that we’re on in this life

Vedi, alcuni potrebbero dire che la presenza di Dio è condizionata

Che è lì solo quando stai prendendo la decisione giusta

Ma decolla in qualche modo quando ti autodistruggi o quando ne hai un po'

pazzo

Ma guarda che la mia Bibbia dice qualcosa di diverso

La mia Bibbia mi dice, Gesù ha detto: «Ecco, io sono con te sempre, anche fino alla fine

la terra"

Davide pregò: «Anche se camminerò attraverso la valle dell'ombra della morte,

tu sei con me e non ti temerò»

Quindi la domanda non è se Dio rimane

Oh, è con noi, è sempre con noi, penso che abbia risposto a quella domanda

Ma c'è una domanda a cui bisogna rispondere

E questa è una domanda su cui tu e io dobbiamo riflettere e rispondere

E non si risponde con una parola, si risponde con la nostra vita

E questa domanda è... Alla luce del sapere che Dio è sempre con noi

E alla luce di sapere che ci vede sempre

Come risponderemo al nostro percorso?

Questa è la domanda su cui dobbiamo riflettere

E questa è la domanda a cui dobbiamo rispondere

E questo è il viaggio che stiamo facendo in questa vita
