I owe you nothing

I pay tribute to no image or symbol

That stands for what I cannot support

Shunning the needs of common man

And all of those it was meant to help

A dollar to a prison

A dime to a man in need

A priority misunderstood,

As the country goes it’s way.

I owe nothing to this which

I never chose to belong

I refuse to claim the name.

Of a label stolen with no regard.

Not by birth

Confusion sets in to those who close off

Opportunity.

Self proclaimed inheritors,

Deny these rights to others

I have no place with you, so don’t extend your hand

You embrace me only to watch me, not to include me.

Non ti devo niente

Rendo omaggio a nessuna immagine o simbolo

Questo sta per ciò che non posso supportare

Evitando i bisogni dell'uomo comune

E tutto ciò che doveva aiutare

Un dollaro a una prigione

Un centesimo per un uomo bisognoso

Una priorità fraintesa,

Come il paese va a modo suo.

Non devo nulla a questo che

Non ho mai scelto di appartenere

Mi rifiuto di rivendicare il nome.

Di un'etichetta rubata senza alcun riguardo.

Non per nascita

La confusione si diffonde in coloro che chiudono

Opportunità.

Autoproclamati eredi,

Nega questi diritti ad altri

Non ho posto con te, quindi non allungare la mano

Mi abbracci solo per guardarmi, non per includermi.
