Waking early

Moving quickly

Just in time to see morning glories

They’re in bloom now

A neighbor told me

That it helps to notice the small things

Taking time out

Taking shelter

To wait out this inclimate weather

And when you hold me

It’s so much better

It’s enough to drown out the thunder

It’s a still life

At my window

Sipping coffee

Watching the birds go

But is it still life?

It doesn’t feel so

Is it storms that help make the heart grow?

Sveglia presto

Muoversi velocemente

Giusto in tempo per vedere le glorie mattutine

Sono in fiore ora

Me l'ha detto un vicino

Che aiuta a notare le piccole cose

Prendersi del tempo

Rifugiarsi

Per aspettare questo clima avverso

E quando mi stringi

È molto meglio

È sufficiente attutire il tuono

È una natura morta

Alla mia finestra

Sorseggiando un caffè

Guardando gli uccelli andare

Ma è natura morta?

Non sembra così
