Well I was walking through the green, green grass just minding my own affairs

When I came across a bright green ever hungry polar bear

He took me by my empty hand and took me with his stare

And then we started dancing in the howling midnight air

He drove me to a city bright with shiny city lights

And I was blinded by the gleam and all them promised heights

Each window danced before me like sweet girls in underwear

He pointed out some shiny boots he knew would fit me fine

And I could barely keep myself from screaming how sublime

High heeled, black, up to my knees just how I like em yeah

He knew just what’d fit me, he knew just what I’d wear

I lost myself amidst the greed filled howling midnight fog

So next time you meet a bright green ever hungry polar bear

Don’t dance with him, don’t shake his hand, don’t meet his hungry stare

He’ll only lead you way astray and far from who you are

So don’t get fooled by shiny boots or get in strange bear’s cars

He bit me hard, he bit me deep, he bit me to the bone

Was like I blinked and then somehow I lost my way back home

Mi sono perso in mezzo all'avidità che riempiva l'ululante nebbia di mezzanotte

Quindi la prossima volta incontrerai un orso polare sempre affamato di un verde brillante

Non ballare con lui, non stringergli la mano, non incontrare il suo sguardo affamato

Ti porterà solo fuori strada e lontano da chi sei

Quindi non lasciarti ingannare da stivali lucidi o entrare nelle macchine di strani orsi

Mi ha morso forte, mi ha morso in profondità, mi ha morso fino all'osso

Era come se avessi sbattuto le palpebre e poi in qualche modo avessi perso la strada di casa

Ho pagato il mio prezzo, ho pagato i miei debiti e ora sono qui a dirtelo

Non ballare con orsi polari verde brillante, portano solo a una profonda disperazione
