Time, time wakes to suck the seconds, minutes and the days

Days are so surreal that

Waking from a dream, I’m mistaken what is real and what’s

Fake now, everything is the same

Lie awake while the world sleeps away

'Cause waking dreams keep me from sleeping peacefully

Open my eyes to see that there is someone there

Then it’s gone and I’m back here again

Just a glimpse of an alternate reality

Say the words aloud «Don't tell me I don’t care.»

Fly, fly fast and wake with a start when you begin to fall

Fall hard.

As the realisation is

Dawning that we’ve already had warning: if we stand fast then the yawning

Will soon turn into a whirlwind

The light has gone and I lie here to wait for morning

To cast it’s light on these shadows

Breathing slow so I can hear every sound

That’s out of place or unfamiliar

As my eyes close I slip away through a wall of silence

Into a world of unknown measures where I find myself surrounded

But when I open up my eyes, the visions do not disappear

Instead they linger before dissolving into darkness

Dreams, dreams take every single second of the day

At days end they place them in a

Melting pot that spews like a fountain sprinkling dreams on the sleeping

But now they’re there when I’m waking

L'alba che abbiamo già avuto avviso: se stiamo in piedi, allora lo sbadiglio

Presto si trasformerà in un vortice

La luce se n'è andata e io sono sdraiato qui ad aspettare il mattino

Per proiettare luce su queste ombre

Respiro lento così posso sentire ogni suono

È fuori luogo o sconosciuto

Mentre i miei occhi si chiudono, scivolo via attraverso un muro di silenzio

In un mondo di misure sconosciute in cui mi ritrovo circondato

Ma quando apro gli occhi, le visioni non scompaiono

Invece indugiano prima di dissolversi nell'oscurità

I sogni, i sogni prendono ogni singolo secondo della giornata

Alla fine dei giorni li mettono in un

Melting pot che vomita come una fontana che spruzza sogni sul sonno

Ma ora sono lì quando mi sveglio
