Desolate Spheres - Obscura

I close my eyes and the sun goes out

Hold a breath and all of the creatures fall dead

Cover my ears and the universe goes silent

Not a water drop

Not a heartbeat

Not a sound from a songbird in any of the 4 corners

I swallow the stars until they burn like coals through my eyes

My outline glows against the night sky like an eclipse of the sun

And sparks follow each of my movements like a shower of meteors

I light up the sky with the Aurora

Comets appear before dawn

He greets us at death in that quiet place that is faint in our memories

That place that has always been there but we can’t quite remember

When you cross that bridge to the other world, open the door and step through

Step through the stars, swim through the gate

Touch the very boundaries of the universe

Chiudo gli occhi e il sole si spegne

Trattieni un respiro e tutte le creature cadranno morte

Coprimi le orecchie e l'universo diventa silenzioso

Non una goccia d'acqua

Non un battito cardiaco

Non il suono di un uccello canoro in nessuno dei 4 angoli

Ingoio le stelle finché non bruciano come carboni attraverso i miei occhi

Il mio profilo brilla contro il cielo notturno come un'eclissi di sole

E le scintille seguono ciascuno dei miei movimenti come una pioggia di meteore

Illumino il cielo con l'Aurora

Le comete compaiono prima dell'alba

Ci saluta alla morte in quel luogo tranquillo che è debole nei nostri ricordi

Quel posto che è sempre stato lì ma che non riusciamo a ricordare

Quando attraversi quel ponte verso l'altro mondo, apri la porta ed entra

Attraversa le stelle, nuota attraverso il cancello

Tocca i confini stessi dell'universo
