In the distance

Across the barren fields

Peering through the mist

Endless forests

Reaching for the stars

The eternal heavens open up

To silence these burning plains

Forever

Nothingness

A speck of dust in the face of time

Without form and void

Engulfed in a haze of emptiness

The beginning and the end

Everything;

So immensely grey

Like ashes falling from a burning sky
