i walked all night long 'cause the walk was pretty far

i spent the last three nights just playing my guitar

in my room where the walls are white and lights are bright and the window’s

broken

and just a mattress on the floor, but i don’t live there anymore

so i just roam the streets for now

i’m sure i’ll find a place to sleep somehow

i dialed a number but i didn’t really call

because i didn’t feel like crying anymore

i called a friend and asked «hey, can i crash at yours tonight?»

he said, «of course man, it’s no problem.

just lock the door, turn off the

light.»

and in the darkness i fell asleep on the floor

ho camminato tutta la notte perché la passeggiata era piuttosto lunga

ho passato le ultime tre notti suonando solo la mia chitarra

nella mia stanza dove le pareti sono bianche e le luci sono luminose e quelle della finestra

rotte

e solo un materasso sul pavimento, ma non vivo più lì

quindi per ora vago solo per le strade

sono sicuro che troverò un posto dove dormire in qualche modo

ho composto un numero ma non ho effettivamente chiamato

perché non avevo più voglia di piangere

ho chiamato un amico e ho chiesto "hey, posso stare da tuo stasera?"

disse, «certo, amico, non è un problema.

basta chiudere a chiave la porta, spegnere il

luce."

e nell'oscurità mi sono addormentato sul pavimento
