God made man

Gave him rule over Earth and sea

There was friendship and harmony

Between creator and humanity

Then temptation came

And foolishly man disobeyed

From them two came into the world

And in his shame man could no longer stand in the presence of God

His thoughts became futile

His heart was darkened

And he exchanged the truth of God for a lie

Worship created things, rather than God himself

Giving over to his shameful desires

But God has a plan to reconcile his people back to him

Unfolding down through history

For he so lover the world

That he gave to man his only son and punished him instead of us

Bruised for me, he was hung upon a tree

Mocked and cursed for all to see

The Lord and Saviour of humanity

And then the darkness came

Evil thought he’d won the day

But death could not hold onto him and on day three he rose again

The price was fully paid

But God has a plan to reconcile his people back to him

Unfolding down through history

For he so lover the world

That he gave to man his only son and punished him instead of us.

C'era amicizia e armonia

Tra creatore e umanità

Poi è arrivata la tentazione

E stoltamente l'uomo ha disobbedito

Da loro due vennero al mondo

E nella sua vergogna l'uomo non poteva più stare alla presenza di Dio

I suoi pensieri divennero futili

Il suo cuore era oscurato

E ha scambiato la verità di Dio con una menzogna

L'adorazione ha creato le cose, piuttosto che Dio stesso

Cedere ai suoi vergognosi desideri

Ma Dio ha un piano per riconciliare il suo popolo con lui

Spiegarsi attraverso la storia

Perché ama così tanto il mondo

Che ha dato all'uomo il suo unico figlio e ha punito lui invece di noi

Contuso per me, è stato appeso a un albero

Deriso e maledetto perché tutti lo vedessero

Il Signore e Salvatore dell'umanità

E poi è arrivata l'oscurità

Il male pensava di aver vinto la giornata

Ma la morte non poteva trattenerlo e il terzo giorno è risorto

Il prezzo è stato interamente pagato

Ma Dio ha un piano per riconciliare il suo popolo con lui

Spiegarsi attraverso la storia

Perché ama così tanto il mondo

Che ha dato all'uomo il suo unico figlio e ha punito lui invece di noi.
