Every morning I find my place down the road

Salty sky air I breathe in, I know my home

Routine sounds with my eyes closed, I can get around

Twenty-one lights, I know my count, what’s been found?

Lately I find myself throwing stones

Splashing all I can, ripples grow

Keep your eyes along the sound

For the flashing eyes you’ve found

And if you’ve lost your way

Turn out the light across the bay

I see a couple of daytime swimmers

I hear a couple more water whispers

Finding me

Think of all the nighttime choices

Looking out for distant voices

Finally seen

Isn’t it kinda odd to think that

This could be everything I needed

All along

Through all the fog and the coldest clouds

This side of the pond to the other

Who will believe?

Ogni mattina trovo il mio posto in fondo alla strada

Aria salata del cielo che inspiro, conosco la mia casa

Suoni di routine con gli occhi chiusi, posso spostarmi

Ventuno luci, conosco il mio conteggio, cosa è stato trovato?

Ultimamente mi ritrovo a lanciare sassi

Spruzzando tutto quello che posso, le increspature crescono

Tieni gli occhi lungo il suono

Per gli occhi lampeggianti che hai trovato

E se hai perso la strada

Spegni la luce attraverso la baia

Vedo un paio di nuotatori diurni

Sento un altro paio di sussurri d'acqua

Trovarmi

Pensa a tutte le scelte notturne

Alla ricerca di voci lontane

Finalmente visto

Non è un po' strano pensarlo

Questo potrebbe essere tutto ciò di cui avevo bisogno

Per tutto il tempo

Attraverso tutta la nebbia e le nuvole più fredde

Da questa parte dello stagno all'altra

Chi crederà?
