You enter as if everything’s okay

So many eyes looking your way

You take your time as if there’s nothing to do

I wish I was a little more like you

You know a lot about those philosofer guys

Plato’s cave, reason and more wise

You know a lot, think lessons are lame

I ask myself do you know my name

You said you don’t know the truth

I said I can learn it too

You said no one knows the truth

But I know that I do like you

I try my hardest, you don’t even try your best

You know a lot, I know a lot less

You rather hang around, smoke and drink

But I see, feel and think and think and think

That what we see and touch will not remain

The true world is formed in our brain

Can’t get my head around Plato’s cave

Cause I keep wondering do you know my name

La grotta di Platone, ragione e più saggia

Sai molto, pensi che le lezioni siano zoppicanti

Mi chiedo se conosci il mio nome
