Here we go again

Another brother shot dead in the street

Police say it was drug related

All in all that’s what they believe

What about his mother

She’s gonna live off her life in pain

See 'cuz that was her only son

Is this what our future brings?

It was a shotgun blast

That’s all we heard

So we paused and no one said a word

Then we saw some people running up the block

So we ran to find that Bobby was shot

Bobby never bothered anyone

What I mean to say is he was cool

What a way to go out in life

Not knowing that the next one’s you

Tragedy:

Running through my head

One minute he was here

And the next he was dead

His mother yelling, «Bobby, please stay awake!»

Then Bobby closed his eyes and died as she cried

Two years have come and gone

And I still see his mother

But she’s got a little baby now

And he reminds me of his brother

But never forgetting the day that Bobby passed

She visits the corner and lights a candle tor everyone to see

Where the graffiti reads «Rest In Peace»

And the shit still runs through my head

One minute he was here and the next he was dead

His mother yelling «Bobby, please stay awake!»

Then Bobby closed his eyes and died as she cried

Un altro fratello è stato ucciso a colpi di arma da fuoco per strada

La polizia dice che era legato alla droga

Tutto sommato è ciò in cui credono

E sua madre

Vivrà della sua vita nel dolore

Vedi perché quello era il suo unico figlio

È questo ciò che porta il nostro futuro?

È stato un colpo di fucile

Questo è tutto ciò che abbiamo sentito

Quindi ci siamo fermati e nessuno ha detto una parola

Poi abbiamo visto alcune persone che correvano l'isolato

Quindi siamo corsi a scoprire che Bobby è stato colpito

Bobby non ha mai disturbato nessuno

Quello che intendo dire è che era simpatico

Che modo di uscire nella vita

Non sapendo che il prossimo sei tu

Tragedia:

Mi scorre per la testa

Un minuto era qui

E il giorno dopo era morto

Sua madre che urlava: «Bobby, per favore stai sveglio!»

Poi Bobby chiuse gli occhi e morì mentre lei piangeva

Dietro la burocrazia!

Sono passati due anni

E vedo ancora sua madre

Ma ora ha un bambino

E mi ricorda suo fratello

Ma senza mai dimenticare il giorno in cui Bobby è morto

Visita l'angolo e accende una candela per farla vedere a tutti

Dove i graffiti recitano «Riposa in pace»

E la merda mi passa ancora per la testa
