Religion - Ravenous

I have already seen it all

a thousand times before

gazing into empty space

where the timelines cross

For out and away from here

it pushes its way into the air

still a bit too surreal

but we bring the lies to life

It only exists within our minds

and so man created God

we tried to put it into focus

until it became too real

And still there is some kind of need

this idea came to life

still not completely understood

it lies and tears apart

A man made force in our world

combines the evil and the good

religion is what we call it

but it isn’t understood

it was created to give hope

but it’s caused so many wars

and it will bring so many more

countless like the stars

Ho già visto tutto

mille volte prima

guardando nel vuoto

dove le linee temporali si incrociano

Per fuori e lontano da qui

si spinge nell'aria

ancora un po' troppo surreale

ma noi portiamo in vita le bugie

Esiste solo nelle nostre menti

e così l'uomo creò Dio

abbiamo provato a metterlo a fuoco

finché non è diventato troppo reale

E c'è ancora una sorta di bisogno

questa idea ha preso vita

ancora non del tutto compreso

mente e si lacera

Una forza creata dall'uomo nel nostro mondo

unisce il male e il bene

la religione è ciò che noi la chiamiamo

ma non è compreso

è stato creato per dare speranza

ma ha causato così tante guerre

e ne porterà molti di più

innumerevoli come le stelle
