Woke up to a rainy breath

Echoing off my wall

And I knew I wasn’t alone

A knock came running down the hall

Ooo the rats in town

I smell her coming

Ya she’s always on my mind

Come up behind me with her pearly eyes of death

She put her hands around my neck in total silence

Footsteps over my shoulder

And everybody says it’s nice

When the rats come 'round

They know I love 'em

They can get it while it’s fresh

Come to the show you’ll know exactly who I am

Your greasy grip scratching at every move I make

Mi sono svegliato con un respiro piovoso

Echeggiando dal mio muro

E sapevo di non essere solo

Un colpo arrivò di corsa lungo il corridoio

Ooo i topi in città

La sento arrivare

Sì, lei è sempre nella mia mente

Sali dietro di me con i suoi occhi perlati della morte

Mi mise le mani intorno al collo in totale silenzio

Passi sulla mia spalla

E tutti dicono che è carino

Quando i topi tornano

Sanno che li amo

Possono prenderlo mentre è fresco

Vieni allo spettacolo saprai esattamente chi sono

Quando arriva il futuro
