A Prison Without Walls -

Break the chains

I look at the world around me and see thousands of prisoners

In a prison without walls

They are prisoners of their lust,

And are slaves to their desires,

They speak of freedom as slaves

And they dream of life but choose death.

And the worst thing is that in my vision

They cannot see the walls of their prison

Those walls of resentment and fear,

Those walls of unbelief and lie.

And now I see there are people who are tired of the gloom,

But God will set them free.

I hear the sound of their prayers and songs,

Hear us, oh God, and save us, Almighty,

Deliver us from all our bonds.

And here I see a bright light dispersing the darkness

And breaking the shackles of people

They are free.

I see a Man who was crucified

But rose again on the third day

Brought salvation to the world with his nail-punched hands,

Bestowing us healing and reviving our hope.

Call upon the Lord, and He will deliver you,

And all the walls of fear will fall.

Spezza le catene

Guardo il mondo intorno a me e vedo migliaia di prigionieri

In una prigione senza mura

Sono prigionieri della loro lussuria,

e sono schiavi dei loro desideri,

Parlano di libertà come schiavi

E sognano la vita ma scelgono la morte.

E la cosa peggiore è quella nella mia visione

Non possono vedere le mura della loro prigione

Quelle mura di risentimento e paura,

Quelle mura di incredulità e menzogna.

E ora vedo che ci sono persone che sono stanche dell'oscurità,

Ma Dio li libererà.

Sento il suono delle loro preghiere e dei loro canti,

Ascoltaci, o Dio, e salvaci, Onnipotente,

Liberaci da tutti i nostri legami.

E qui vedo una luce brillante che disperde l'oscurità

E spezzare le catene delle persone

Sono gratuiti.

Vedo un uomo che è stato crocifisso

Ma è risorto il terzo giorno

Ha portato la salvezza al mondo con le sue mani inchiodate,

Donandoci guarigione e ravvivando la nostra speranza.

Invoca il Signore ed Egli ti libererà,

E tutti i muri della paura cadranno.
