The Storm -

Even when the storm is raging,

Even when there are huge waves

Even if the sky is covered with dark clouds

Even when it is dawn

It seems so distant

Help me not fear to firmly believe

That You are in my boat

You calm the storm

And bring a tranquil haven for me.

I’m calm with You!

I’m safe with You my Lord!

Everything is under your control.

Just help me to remember and firmly believe

That You are always with me when I am with You.

And I shalt not be afraid for the terror by night,

Nor for the arrow that flieth by day,

For the pestilence that walketh in darkness,

Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at my side, And ten thousand at my right hand,

But it shall not come nigh me.

Because I hath set my love upon the Lord,

Therefore Lord will deliver me

He will set me on high,

Because I hath known His name.

He will be with me in trouble

He will deliver me, and honor me.

Satisfy me with long life,

And show me His salvation.

Anche quando la tempesta infuria,

Anche quando ci sono onde enormi

Anche se il cielo è coperto di nuvole scure

Anche quando è l'alba

Sembra così distante

Aiutami a non aver paura di credere fermamente

Che sei nella mia barca

Calmi la tempesta

E portami un rifugio tranquillo.

Sono calmo con te!

Sono al sicuro con Te, mio Signore!

Tutto è sotto il tuo controllo.

Aiutami solo a ricordare e credere fermamente

Che tu sia sempre con me quando io sono con te.

E non avrò paura per il terrore notturno,

né per la freccia che vola di giorno,

Per la pestilenza che cammina nelle tenebre,

Né per la distruzione che devasta a mezzogiorno.

Mille cadranno al mio fianco e diecimila alla mia destra,

Ma non mi si avvicinerà.

Poiché ho riposto il mio amore nel Signore,

Perciò il Signore mi libererà

Mi innalzerà in alto,

Perché ho conosciuto il suo nome.

Sarà con me nei guai

Egli mi libererà e mi onorerà.

Soddisfami con una lunga vita,

E mostrami la Sua salvezza.
