Nightmare -

The demons of my past have crept

Under the cover of the night

Waiting to snatch me from my bed

Into the place where they abide.

I’m dreaming and the dream is dark.

The water flows like liquid oil

When suddenly the demons start

Pulling me down with their coils.

My lips are frozen with the fear,

And neither hand nor foot would move

And then the pallid light appears

The Midnight Sun, the deathly Moon.

Shall I surrender to the night

And let the waters take me in?

There is no help within a sight

How can I fight within my dream?

Sotto la copertura della notte

In attesa di strapparmi dal mio letto

Nel luogo in cui dimorano.

Sto sognando e il sogno è oscuro.

L'acqua scorre come olio liquido

Quando all'improvviso iniziano i demoni

Tirandomi giù con le loro spire.

Le mie labbra sono congelate dalla paura,

E né la mano né il piede si muoverebbero

E poi appare la pallida luce

Il sole di mezzanotte, la luna mortale.

Devo arrendermi alla notte

E lasciare che le acque mi portino dentro?

Non c'è nessun aiuto in vista

Come posso combattere all'interno del mio sogno?
