We live in a Gotham where there are already too many inconsistent heroes

We live in a city where people over promise what they’re willing to do

But catch them on the wrong day and they have already checked out

See, real heroes, real misfits, real Christians, real Christ followers

They don’t pick and choose when they help

Nor do they allow a circumstance to dictate their level of commitment

We choose to live a life that most people say they don’t want to live

But we know that we’re called to this

And because of His grace we are able to make it

This is why we carry our cross daily

And daily allowing our cross to carry us through

Each and every one of us are called to live a selfless life

Not making it about us

Not making it about how many followers we can gain on Twitter or Instagram

But making it about how many followers can be added to the Kingdom

Not for our sake, but for the name of Jesus Christ

I am praying and I am hoping that today you will be consistent in your faith

Please allow me to expose to you from the onset, from the very beginning

If you are doing this thing for applause or accolades

Then you are in it from the wrong reason, why?

Because the bible clearly states that all glory, all honor does not belong to us

It all belongs to Jesus Christ

So when you enter in this thing be sure that you know, that you understand

And that you are okay with knowing that all the work may be done by you

But all the praise and thank you’s belong to Him

A misfit is one who’s uncomfortable with his or her surroundings

And is seen to be disturbingly different than others

And as misfits one of our greatest discomforts is inconsistency amongst our

peers

No matter what happens we remain full of character and integrity

Without ceasing, without stopping, why?

Because we realize that this is more than a fad, or a trendy term, or a t-shirt

This is a lifestyle, and it is a commitment to God

And as misfits living under the mandate of Jesus Christ

We do not take our commitments lightly

Our yes, is yes.

And our no, is no

Viviamo in una Gotham dove ci sono già troppi eroi incoerenti

Viviamo in una città dove le persone promettono troppo quello che sono disposte a fare

Ma prendili nel giorno sbagliato e hanno già fatto il check-out

Vedete, veri eroi, veri disadattati, veri cristiani, veri seguaci di Cristo

Non scelgono e scelgono quando aiutano

Né consentono a una circostanza di determinare il loro livello di impegno

Scegliamo di vivere una vita che la maggior parte delle persone dice di non voler vivere

Ma sappiamo che siamo chiamati a questo

E grazie alla sua grazia siamo in grado di farcela

Questo è il motivo per cui portiamo la nostra croce ogni giorno

E ogni giorno ci lasciamo trasportare dalla nostra croce

Ognuno di noi è chiamato a vivere una vita disinteressata

Non farcela su di noi

Non capire quanti follower possiamo guadagnare su Twitter o Instagram

Ma parlando di quanti seguaci possono essere aggiunti al Regno

Non per noi, ma per il nome di Gesù Cristo

Prego e spero che oggi sarai coerente nella tua fede

Per favore, consentitemi di esporvi fin dall'inizio, fin dall'inizio

Se stai facendo questa cosa per applausi o riconoscimenti

Allora ci sei dentro per il motivo sbagliato, perché?

Perché la Bibbia afferma chiaramente che ogni gloria, ogni onore non appartiene a noi

Appartiene a Gesù Cristo

Quindi, quando entri in questa cosa, assicurati di sapere, di capire

E che ti va bene sapere che tutto il lavoro potrebbe essere svolto da te

Ma tutte le lodi e i ringraziamenti appartengono a Lui

Un disadattato è colui che è a disagio con ciò che lo circonda

Ed è visto essere inquietantemente diverso dagli altri

E come disadattati, uno dei nostri più grandi disagi è l'incoerenza tra i nostri

colleghi

Qualunque cosa accada, rimaniamo pieni di carattere e integrità

Senza fermarsi, senza fermarsi, perché?

Perché ci rendiamo conto che questa è più di una moda passeggera, un termine alla moda o una t-shirt

Questo è uno stile di vita ed è un impegno verso Dio

E come disadattati che vivono sotto il mandato di Gesù Cristo

Non prendiamo i nostri impegni alla leggera

Il nostro sì, è sì.

E il nostro no, è no
