I’ve been cast into the mould of new times

I’ve been gassed behind enemy lines

I was the last one from two thousand and one young squaddies

I thought to myself, «It's got to be a dream»

That’s when I noticed this hole in the green

And the girl in the bunker revealing her beautiful body

Well, there were handicaps all around

But I had to get into that hole in the ground

Though the grass was covered in blood and the green was muddy

I took my aim but I missed the shot

And it landed right down in the spot

Where the girl in the bunker was flashing her beautiful body

I stripped off my uniform when I saw the sign which read:

«No squaddies in the clubhouse after half past nine, you’re dead!

Members are requested, please don’t play the green that’s red--

And please don’t lose your balls down in the bunker!»

So I stepped into the clubhouse, I had my birthday-suit disguise

I must have looked suspicious, they could see it in my eyes

«Members must be covered, kindly button up your flies--

And please don’t lose your balls down in the bunker!»

I woke up and the room was green

And when the nurse came on the scene

She was the girl from the bunker-- oh, what a beautiful body!

Sono stato gettato nello stampo di tempi nuovi

Sono stato gasato dietro le linee nemiche

Ho pensato tra me e me: "Deve essere un sogno"

Fu allora che notai questo buco nel verde

I membri sono invitati, per favore non giocare con il verde che è rosso--

E per favore, non perdere le palle nel bunker!»

Quindi sono entrato nella club house, ho avuto il mio travestimento da abito di compleanno

Devo aver sembrato sospettoso, potevano vederlo nei miei occhi

«I membri devono essere coperti, abbottonati gentilmente le mosche--

E per favore, non perdere le palle nel bunker!»

Sono stato gettato nello stampo di tempi nuovi

Sono stato gasato dietro le linee nemiche

L'ultimo dei duemila e uno giovani squadristi

Mi sono svegliato e la stanza era verde

E quando l'infermiera è entrata in scena

Era la ragazza del bunker... oh, che bel corpo!
