Psalm 33:13−15 & Proverbs 15:3

Sometimes His eye were gentle

And filled with laughter

And sometimes they cried

Sometimes there was a fire

Of holy anger

In Jesus' eyes

But the eyes that saw hope in the hopeless

That saw through the fault to the need

Are the same eyes that look down from heaven

Into the deepest part of you and me His eyes are always upon us His eyes never close in sleep

And no matter where you go You will always be in His eyes, in His eyes

Sometimes His voice comes calling

Like rolling thunder

Or like driving rain

And sometimes His voice is quiet

And we start to wonder

If He knows our pain

But He who spoke peace to the water

Cares more for our heart than the waves

And the voice that once said «You're forgiven»

Still says «You're forgiven"today

Sometimes I look above me when stars are shinning

And I feel so small

How could the God of heaven and all creation

Know I’m here at all

But then in the silence He whispers

«My child, I created you too

And you’re my most precious creation

I even gave my Son for you»

His eyes are always upon you

His eyes never close in sleep

And no matter where you go you will always be You will always be in His eyes

A volte il Suo sguardo era gentile

E pieno di risate

E a volte piangevano

A volte c'era un incendio

Di santa rabbia

Agli occhi di Gesù

Ma gli occhi che vedevano la speranza nei senza speranza

Ciò ha visto attraverso la colpa la necessità

Sono gli stessi occhi che guardano dal cielo

Nella parte più profonda di te e me I suoi occhi sono sempre su di noi I suoi occhi non si chiudono mai nel sonno

E non importa dove tu vada, sarai sempre nei suoi occhi, nei suoi occhi

A volte la sua voce viene chiamata

Come un tuono rotolante

O come pioggia battente

E a volte la sua voce è calma

E iniziamo a chiederci

Se Lui conosce il nostro dolore

Ma Colui che ha parlato di pace all'acqua

Si preoccupa più del nostro cuore che delle onde

E la voce che una volta disse «Sei perdonato»

Dice ancora «Sei perdonato» oggi

A volte guardo sopra di me quando le stelle brillano

E mi sento così piccolo

Come potrebbe il Dio del cielo e di tutta la creazione

Sappi che sono qui

Ma poi nel silenzio sussurra

«Figlia mia, ho creato anche te

E tu sei la mia creazione più preziosa

Ho anche dato mio figlio per te»

I suoi occhi sono sempre su di te

I suoi occhi non si chiudono mai nel sonno

E non importa dove vai, sarai sempre, sarai sempre nei Suoi occhi

Non importa dove tu vada, sarai sempre nei suoi occhi

A volte i suoi occhi erano gentili

E pieno di risate
