Augury of Ancients - Symbolik

The flesh emerges

Pulled from a corpse womb

A scene of a mother’s fatal love for her child

Is drenched in the light of the blood moon

Whilst clutching the warmth of his legacy

The king weeps and then speaks to his faded queen

«My love, rest your soul»

He repeated caressing the face of a stone

Foretold was the price you would pay

If his seed were to breathe

The throne he would take

And the coldest of the fates

Will descend upon the land

Long will live the king

But not the same for his enemies

Even knowing all of this

The king could not resist

The pride that he took in his offspring

For this prince flesh will rip

A kingdom built on bones of foes

Through the years that would come to pass

Disturbing occurrences

The haunting of something more

Wretched infectious slice of grim

A servant reports at the king’s request

«My liege I’m not sure how to cleanse this soul»

«Do what you must» his lord insists

No matter the consequence

A crash followed by the flames

Interrupts the peace in the palace walls

His royalty rushes from his seat to be greeted by the scene of his kingdom’s

fall

«Sound the alarm, we are under siege!»

The frail king shouts to all

«Remove my son from the kingdom in secret»

He must not fall

Frantic, he collected the boy

And proceeded to escape through a hidden corridor

He instructed the prince to block all of this

Keep a close pace

And cling to your focus

Approaching the edge of the only land

The boy ever knew he is more than confused

But he does what he’s told

Proceeds into the cold with uncertainty into the unknown

The empire slaughtered the masses

Those who survived were enslaved

A dynasty scorned from hatred

That will fester until it is saved

Il re non ha potuto resistere

L'orgoglio che ha portato nella sua prole

Per questo principe la carne si strapperà

Un regno costruito su ossa di nemici

Attraverso gli anni che sarebbero passati

Avvenimenti inquietanti

L'ossessione di qualcosa di più

Misera fetta contagiosa di grim

Un servitore fa rapporto su richiesta del re

«Mio signore, non sono sicuro di come purificare quest'anima»

«Fai quello che devi» insiste il suo signore

Non importa la conseguenza

Uno schianto seguito dalle fiamme

Interrompe la pace tra le mura del palazzo

La sua regalità si precipita dal suo posto per essere accolta dalla scena del suo regno

cade

«Suona l'allarme, siamo sotto assedio!»

Il fragile re grida a tutti

«Rimuovi mio figlio dal regno in segreto»

Non deve cadere

Frenetico, raccolse il ragazzo

E procedette a fuggire attraverso un corridoio nascosto

Ha ordinato al principe di bloccare tutto questo

Mantieni un ritmo serrato

E aggrappati alla tua concentrazione

Avvicinandosi al confine dell'unica terra

Il ragazzo ha sempre saputo di essere più che confuso

Ma fa quello che gli viene detto

Procede nel freddo con incertezza nell'ignoto

L'impero ha massacrato le masse

Coloro che sono sopravvissuti sono stati ridotti in schiavitù

Una dinastia disprezzata dall'odio

Ciò marcirà finché non non sarà salvato
