Steppin' in and I’m checkin' out the scene,

Fresh pressed, creased out, man you know yo' boy be clean (clean);

Hand claps, toe tappin' while the choir raise a song,

Folks shoutin' now the reverend’s up you know it won’t be long

Passa holler bout a hour and I’m thankin' bout the game

People peepin at the clock (whoop) every Sunday it’s the same

Alter call, preacher’s hoopin', church open up the doors

Steppin' out the house so fresh, clean

Tailored suites and gator boots, Italian names in the inseam

Summer heat encumber teens, forced to wear them pants with pleats

Sunday morning uniform, like we soldiers, like Marines

Off to Sunday School with mama 'nem, like it was a job for them

I’d hear the same Word but different meanings like with homonyms

Time and time again, cause I’m praying that the time would end

Man Saturday must be my crime, my Sunday’s doing time again

You feel me man, I know you do, some of y’all still going through

Most of us just learn the motions just so we can make it through

I mean, no one ever showed us how this thing was vital for life

And that the church was not a building, but the body of the Christ

But we just don’t get it.

The Church, chosen in Christ in eternity.

The Church is not a building, it’s breathing.

Maturing Christians in communal living,

Helping babes that are teething.

You can have perfect attendance in the seat of the building

And not be a part of this.

You can attend the building and not be a part of the body of Christ…

it’s obvious.

I’m blessed and highly favored and because of this

Jesus Christ is blessed and highly treasured.

The greatest gift that God could give is God…

So see and savor Him!

Entrando e sto controllando la scena,

Appena spremuto, sgualcito, amico, ragazzo, sii pulito (pulito);

Batte le mani, picchietta i piedi mentre il coro alza una canzone,

La gente grida ora che il reverendo si alza lo sai che non ci vorrà molto

Passa un grido di un'ora e ti ringrazio per il gioco

Le persone sbirciano l'orologio (urlo) ogni domenica è lo stesso

Dopo la chiamata, il cerchio del predicatore, la chiesa apre le porte

Lascia un suggerimento poi mi immergo, la prossima settimana torno da mo'

Uscire di casa così fresco, pulito

Completi su misura e stivali gator, nomi italiani nella cucitura interna

Il caldo estivo ingombra gli adolescenti, costretti a indossare i pantaloni con le pieghe

Uniforme della domenica mattina, come noi soldati, come i marines

Via alla scuola domenicale con mamma 'nem, come se fosse un lavoro per loro

Sentirei la stessa Parola ma significati diversi come con gli omonimi

Più e più volte, perché sto pregando che il tempo finisca

L'uomo sabato deve essere il mio crimine, la mia domenica sta tornando

Mi senti amico, so che lo fai, alcuni di voi stanno ancora attraversando

La maggior parte di noi impara semplicemente i movimenti solo così possiamo farcela

Voglio dire, nessuno ci ha mai mostrato come questa cosa fosse vitale per la vita

E che la chiesa non era un edificio, ma il corpo del Cristo

La Chiesa, eletta in Cristo nell'eternità.

La Chiesa non è un edificio, respira.

Cristiani che maturano nella vita in comune,

Aiutare le ragazze che stanno mettendo i denti.

Puoi avere una presenza perfetta nella sede dell'edificio

E non farne parte.

Puoi frequentare l'edificio e non far parte del corpo di Cristo...

è ovvio.

Sono benedetto e altamente favorito e per questo motivo

Gesù Cristo è benedetto e molto apprezzato.

Il dono più grande che Dio potrebbe fare è Dio...

Quindi guardalo e assaporalo!
