Walking Up a Hill - Teitur

Last night I had a dream I was walking up a hill

I picked berries on my way and I got to know the hill

I got to know the redwings and their every song and call

I knew why they were so loud, I knew why they were still

I got to know a stream, it was hidden 'neath the moss

And I got to know my path and the perils on the hill

I got to know a raven who followed me around

I sang a raven’s croak and he was happy on his wings

When I reached the top I went back down the hill

I met some strangers there, I gave them berries on their way

I told them about the redwings and when to leave them be

I showed them where to drink from the stream on the hill

I showed them where the raven would follow them until

They reached to the top of the hill

La scorsa notte ho fatto un sogno che stavo camminando su una collina

Ho raccolto le bacche sulla mia strada e ho conosciuto la collina

Ho conosciuto i Redwings e ogni loro canzone e chiamata

Sapevo perché erano così rumorosi, sapevo perché erano fermi

Ho avuto modo di conoscere un ruscello, era nascosto "sotto il muschio".

E ho avuto modo di conoscere il mio percorso e i pericoli sulla collina

Quando ho raggiunto la cima sono tornato giù per la collina

Gli ho parlato delle ali rosse e di quando lasciarle stare

Ho mostrato loro dove bere dal ruscello sulla collina

Ho mostrato loro dove il corvo li avrebbe seguiti fino a quando

Raggiunsero la cima della collina
