En-Hakkore - The Burial

My thoughts are distant, my mind is clouded

Over and over again I find myself seeking, searching

I’m left still wanting, cerebral crawling in the landscape of ideas

Wrapped so tight, in the cold embrace of pride

The only thing, holding me from the grace at His side

En-hakkore;

The spring of him who called

My life empowered by The Father of us all

En-hakkore;

My broken, feeble plea

The water rushing forth consoles my deepest needs

Now from my heart flows a living river, so gifted me by the tongues of fire

I feel the gift so freely placed, now flowing through my veins

Desperately I search for the answers, to the riddles I have so long pondered

All high and lofty things, are brought low, before The Lord

Yet still I have an uncontrollable thirst

To see the source and know the face of The One who came first

This thought now grips my heart no matter how hard I try

The thought of Transcendence meeting me eye to eye

I will seek You, I will find You, I will seek You, I will know You

Not one thing could take the place, nothing could share this yoke

I miei pensieri sono distanti, la mia mente è offuscata

Più e più volte mi ritrovo a cercare, cercare

Rimango ancora desideroso, cerebrale che striscia nel panorama delle idee

Avvolto così stretto, nel freddo abbraccio dell'orgoglio

L'unica cosa, trattenermi dalla grazia al suo fianco

En-hakkore;

La primavera di colui che ha chiamato

La mia vita rafforzata dal Padre di tutti noi

En-hakkore;

La mia flebile supplica

L'acqua che sgorga consola i miei bisogni più profondi

Ora dal mio cuore scorre un fiume vivo, così dotato da le lingue di fuoco

Sento il dono così liberamente posizionato, che ora scorre nelle mie vene

Cerco disperatamente le risposte, agli enigmi su cui ho riflettuto così a lungo

Tutte le cose alte ed elevate sono abbassate davanti al Signore

Eppure ho ancora una sete incontrollabile

Per vedere la fonte e conoscere il volto di Colui che è venuto per primo

Questo pensiero ora attanaglia il mio cuore, non importa quanto ci provi

Il pensiero della trascendenza che mi incontra faccia a faccia

Ti cercherò, ti troverò, ti cercherò, ti conoscerò

Nessuna cosa potrebbe prendere il posto, niente potrebbe condividere questo giogo
