Long Street - The Constructus Corporation

The people of Long Street lived very simple lives

They had wonderful natures, were never impolite

Up until the day the Juju Man came to town

Check it out as I break it down

Misses Lekkerlegs was busy hanging her washing on the line

So what happened next was definitely like the last thing on her mind

An unfamiliar voice behind her said, «How do you do?»

«Now, I’m very well, thanks», she replied, «But now, who are you?»

The strange character in the top hat and a long black coat

Introduced himself politely and then said «On that note

I’d like to show you another something that I doubt you’ve ever seen

Here, take a look at this beautiful machine.»

The strange little gadget started changing like magic

And cleverly made it’s way up to the clothesline

In a blink of an eye, removed the clothes

And spun them around, till they were dry

And had them all folded very neatly in no time

«Oh my!»

said Misses Lekkerlegs, was quite taken back

Very curious about this mysterious character in black

And very soon the whole town was making a scene

About the Juju man and his amazing machine

The next day the Juju man went walking through town

Well aware of what everybody was talking about

He had some time to kill before his appointment a little later with the mayor

So he took this opportunity to socialize a bit

And just between you and me the most surprising shit is about to spark

The strangest things that could happen are coming out the dark

Just when you expect them least, the lies never rest in peace

Anyway, today was kinda like, quite an important day, uh

Everybody had come to see the Juju Man’s special present for the mayor

He greeted the crowd with a bow and opened his big fat sack

And at that, presented the mayor with the black backpack

Everybody standing 'round went «Ooh!»

The mayor put it on and was like «Hmm, what does it do?»

All of the sudden two long metal arms and bright red buttons at the end

Extended from out of the backpack.

«Grab a hold of them, my friend»

The mayor followed this instruction and felt the power surge

As the special, metal wings emerged

Then everybody cried out with glee

As the major took off clumsily, like a bumblebee

Now, Snufflegruff called an important meeting with the Boom-Band

«Something funny is goin' on, we better do somethin' about it soon, man

There’s a humongous metal fungus spreading, and everyone’s acting weird

And the strangest thing of all is we’re the only ones who can see it

We gotta do something to get everyone’s attention

And hit them with our supernatural frequency selection

We can build a big thing on the back of my grandpa’s donkey cart

And take a nice slow cruise through town with our fat beats pumping hard

And we could call it… uhm… oh, yeah!

Cause I know that Juju Man is definitely up to something horrible

Okay, we got quite a lot of stuff to do, so, come on, let’s get busy

The big fish is about to get taken out by some crazy little fishies

The big day arrived as advertised and everyone got with the festive vibe

As he sun rose to bless the sky by shining extra bright

Well Snufflegruff mesmerized these humans with his magnificent vibration

Even some visitors from afar where like, «Man, isn’t this song crazy?»

The speakers bumped as the Boom-Band freaked the funk

And all the smiling people feeling the song, singing along

Without a care in the world, all shouting and clapping

All totally unaware of what is about to happen

The Boom-Band bloomed beautifully that sunny afternoon

The day the machine stopped working was a day no one would forget soon

A terribly dreadful cry pierced through the Long Street Carnival

As the Juju Man emerged from his brand new house on the hill

«GRAHGHG!!!»

he cried like some kind of evil alien newborn

As the Boom-Band's incredible, metaphysical vibe revealed his true form

People screamed as the evil fiend

Morphed into some kinda park-town-prawn-like monster

Watching him emitting a excruciating high pitched squeak like when you cook a

lobster

Most of the crowd scattered, others started praying

But the Boom-Band just kept on playing

The creator rose into the air, squirming and started spraying

This disgusting, smelly yellow stuff as it flew back to its master

With his tail between his legs and everybody lived happily ever after

La gente di Long Street viveva una vita molto semplice

Avevano una natura meravigliosa, non erano mai scortesi

Fino al giorno in cui l'Uomo Juju arrivò in città

Dai un'occhiata mentre lo scomposto

La signorina Lekkerlegs era impegnata ad appendere il bucato sulla linea

Quindi ciò che è successo dopo era decisamente l'ultima cosa nella sua mente

Una voce sconosciuta dietro di lei disse: "Come stai?"

«Ora sto benissimo, grazie», rispose, «Ma adesso, chi sei?»

Lo strano personaggio con il cappello a cilindro e un lungo cappotto nero

Si presentò educatamente e poi disse «Su quel biglietto

Vorrei mostrarti un'altra cosa che dubito tu abbia mai visto

Ecco, dai un'occhiata a questa bellissima macchina.»

Lo strano piccolo gadget iniziò a cambiare come per magia

E abilmente è arrivato fino allo stendibiancheria

In un batter d'occhio, tolsi i vestiti

E li fece girare, finché non furono asciutti

E li ha piegati tutti molto ordinatamente in poco tempo

"Oh mio!"

disse la signorina Lekkerlegs, fu piuttosto contrariata

Molto curioso di questo misterioso personaggio in nero

E molto presto l'intera città stava facendo una scena

A proposito dell'uomo Juju e della sua straordinaria macchina

Il giorno successivo l'uomo Juju passeggia per la città

Ben consapevole di ciò di cui tutti stavano parlando

Ha avuto un po' di tempo da perdere prima della sua nomina poco dopo con il sindaco

Quindi ha colto questa opportunità per socializzare un po'

E proprio tra me e te la merda più sorprendente sta per scoppiare

Le cose più strane che potrebbero accadere stanno venendo fuori dal buio

Proprio quando meno te lo aspetti, le bugie non riposano mai in pace

Ad ogni modo, oggi è stato un giorno piuttosto importante, uh

Tutti erano venuti a vedere il regalo speciale dell'uomo di Juju per il sindaco

Salutò la folla con un inchino e aprì il suo grosso sacco grasso

E al quello, ha presentato al sindaco lo zaino nero

Tutti in piedi hanno detto «Ooh!»

Il sindaco l'ha indossato e ha detto "Hmm, cosa fa?"

All'improvviso due lunghe braccia di metallo e pulsanti rosso brillante all'estremità

Esteso dallo zaino.

«Afferrali, amico mio»

Il sindaco ha seguito questa istruzione e ha sentito il picco di corrente

Quando sono emerse le speciali ali di metallo

Poi tutti gridarono di gioia

Mentre il maggiore decollava goffamente, come un calabrone

Ora, Snufflegruff ha convocato un importante incontro con la Boom-Band

«Sta succedendo qualcosa di divertente, faremo meglio a fare qualcosa al riguardo presto, amico

C'è un enorme fungo metallico che si sta diffondendo e tutti si comportano in modo strano

E la cosa più strana di tutte è che siamo gli unici a poterlo vedere

Dobbiamo fare qualcosa per attirare l'attenzione di tutti

E colpiscili con la nostra selezione di frequenze soprannaturali

Possiamo costruire una cosa grande sul retro del carretto di mio nonno

E fai una bella crociera lenta attraverso la città con i nostri ritmi grassi che pompano forte

E potremmo chiamarlo... uhm... oh, sì!

Il Carnevale lungo le strade!

Perché so che Juju Man sta sicuramente tramando qualcosa di orribile

Ok, abbiamo un bel po' di cose da fare, quindi dai, diamoci da fare

Il pesce grosso sta per essere portato fuori da alcuni pesciolini pazzi

Il grande giorno è arrivato come pubblicizzato e tutti hanno avuto l'atmosfera festosa

Mentre il sole sorgeva per benedire il cielo risplendendo in modo estremamente luminoso

Bene, Snufflegruff ha ipnotizzato questi umani con la sua magnifica vibrazione

Anche alcuni visitatori da lontano hanno detto: «Amico, questa canzone non è pazza?»

Gli altoparlanti hanno urtato mentre la Boom-Band ha fatto impazzire il funk

E tutte le persone sorridenti che sentono la canzone, cantando insieme

Senza una preoccupazione al mondo, tutti urlando e applaudendo

Tutti totalmente ignari di ciò che sta per accadere

La Boom-Band fiorì magnificamente quel pomeriggio soleggiato

Il giorno in cui la macchina ha smesso di funzionare è stato un giorno che nessuno avrebbe dimenticato presto

Un grido terribilmente terribile ha trafitto il Carnevale di Long Street

Quando l'uomo Juju emerse dalla sua casa nuova di zecca sulla collina

«GRAHGHG!!!»

piangeva come una specie di neonato alieno malvagio

Mentre l'incredibile atmosfera metafisica della Boom-Band ha rivelato la sua vera forma

La gente urlava come il demone malvagio

Trasformato in una specie di mostro simile a un gambero di un parco

Guardandolo emettere uno squittio acuto e atroce come quando cucini a

aragosta

La maggior parte della folla si disperse, altri iniziarono a pregare

Ma la Boom-Band ha continuato a suonare

Il creatore si alzò in aria, si contorceva e iniziò a spruzzare

Questa roba gialla disgustosa e puzzolente mentre tornava dal suo padrone

Con la coda tra le gambe e tutti vissero felici e contenti
