To the stars

The soul is striving

Called by an unstilled longing

To become what the deep symbol shows

I am a song that dies in the night

Yet I carry the star within me The star is a ray of light above light

I am just a mirror

Forget myself and let it shine

The pure mind reflects the force

Like the moon shines

With the light of the sun

The one and only is all that I am My soul longs to return

The call from light to light

The soul is made of a thousand questions

It dwells within my heart

Flowing forth and coming back again

Nothing can withstand the absolute

The path to the highest is a bridge

I wander clad in my earthly form

Over the river of this world

I hear it’s roar though

It swallows me not

The light of grace shine into my heart

And the last breath a word of hope

It is the word that grants us salvation
