The summer breeze caresses the leaves, in webs spiders sway

And is this rain comes pouring down or some other spray?

I guess it’s all of us now trying just to keep it alive

In cities nothing but a concrete zoo

Where once it would’ve been nature’s call how many creatures survive

We haven’t got a clue, yeah yeah yeah yeah

Keep 'em alive…

The flowers bloom, the crickets chirp and a sparrow calls

Amongst the trees where once were bees, there’s no buzz at all

I guess we know the consequences if we don’t keep em alive

When bees stop buzzing there’s no bread for us to chew

When the corks back in the bottle maybe nature will thrive

Then life will start anew, yeah yeah yeah yeah

La brezza estiva accarezza le foglie, nelle tele ondeggiano i ragni

E questa pioggia cade a dirotto o qualche altro spruzzo?

Immagino che tutti noi ora cerchiamo solo di tenerlo in vita

Nelle città nient'altro che uno zoo di cemento

Dove una volta sarebbe stato il richiamo della natura quante creature sopravvivono

Non abbiamo un indizio, yeah yeah yeah yeah

Tienili in vita...

I fiori sbocciano, i grilli cinguettano e un passero chiama

Tra gli alberi dove un tempo c'erano le api, non c'è nessun ronzio

Immagino che conosciamo le conseguenze se non li teniamo in vita

Quando le api smettono di ronzare, non c'è pane da masticare

Quando i tappi saranno di nuovo nella bottiglia, forse la natura prospererà

Allora la vita comincerà di nuovo, yeah yeah yeah yeah
