Then I looked up at the sun, and the brightness hurt my eyes

But I’d rather be blind than to see you with other guys

Then I listened to the sound of an airplane as it flies

But I’d rather be deaf than to hear you tell those lies

And I shouted and I screamed till my face turned shades of blue

But I’d rather be dumb than to tell you that we’re through

Then an airplane drowned my voice as it blotted out the sun

And I realized that I’m not the only one

Poi ho alzato lo sguardo verso il sole e la luminosità mi ha ferito gli occhi

Ma preferirei essere cieco piuttosto che vederti con altri ragazzi

Poi ho ascoltato il suono di un aeroplano mentre vola

Poi un aereo ha soffocato la mia voce mentre cancellava il sole

E mi sono reso conto che non sono l'unico
