What a beautiful thought that I am thinking

Concerning a great speckled bird

Remember her name is recorded

On the pages of God’s Holy Word

Desiring to lower her standard

They watch every move that she makes

They long to find fault with her teachings

But really they find no mistake

I am glad I have learned of her meekness

I am proud that my name is in her book

For I want to be one never fearing

The face of my Savior to look

When He cometh descending from heaven

On the cloud that He writes in His Word

I’ll be joyfully carried to meet Him

On the wings of that great speckled bird

Riguardante un grande uccello maculato

Ricorda che il suo nome è registrato

Sulle pagine della Santa Parola di Dio

Desiderando abbassare il suo standard

Guardano ogni mossa che fa

Desiderano trovare difetti nei suoi insegnamenti

Ma in realtà non trovano alcun errore

Sono felice di aver appreso della sua mansuetudine

Sono orgoglioso che il mio nome sia nel suo libro

Perché voglio essere uno che non teme mai

Il volto del mio Salvatore da guardare

Quando viene discendendo dal cielo

Sulla nuvola che Egli scrive nella Sua Parola

Sarò portato con gioia ad incontrarLo
