Moses led God’s children out to find the promised land

And on the way he stopped each day and looked to Heaven and

Asked God for help as he could not withstand the task alone

And then one day he looked away and thereby lay a stone

God said write upon this stone these words I say to you

And if you all obey My rules I’ll see you safely through

God opened Heavens doors and then He guided Moses hand

And said go and tell My children these are My Commands

Go and climb that mountain Moses

Climb that mountain now and pray

Climb that mountain now and tell us What our Lord has had to say

Thou shall have no gods before Me is My first Command

And thou shall not make any graven image by thy hand

Thou shalt not take My name in vain and thou wilt guiltless be Remember thou to keep the Sabbath day alone for Me Honor thy father and thy mother and Thou shall not kill

Thou shall not commit adultery and Thou shall not steal

Love thy neighbor as thyself and show thy neighbor peace

Covet not thy neighbor’s house nor anything that’s his

Go and climb that mountain Moses

Moses showed these words of God to all the children there

They pulled up stakes and headed out to find the Promised Land

That Moses had described to them and told of comforts there

The children of oppression thought they’d not find anywhere

But they were soon to part from him and push alone awhile

For it was never meant for him to walk that final mile

The children cried as we must go on Moses without you

Then talk to God just one more time and tell us what to do Go and climb that mountain Moses

Mosè guidò i figli di Dio alla ricerca della terra promessa

E lungo la strada si fermava ogni giorno e guardava al paradiso e

Chiese aiuto a Dio perché non poteva sopportare il compito da solo

E poi un giorno ha distolto lo sguardo e così ha posato una pietra

Dio ha detto di scrivere su questa pietra queste parole che ti dico

E se obbedirete tutti alle Mie regole, vi vedrò in sicurezza

Dio aprì le porte del Cielo e poi guidò la mano di Mosè

E ho detto di andare a dire ai Miei figli che questi sono i Miei Comandi

Vai e scala quel monte Mosè

Scala quella montagna ora e dicci ciò che il nostro Signore ha avuto da dire

Non avrai dèi davanti a Me, è il Mio primo comando

E non farai di tua mano nessuna immagine scolpita

Non pronunciare il mio nome invano e sarai innocente. Ricordati di osservare da solo il giorno del Signore per Me. Onora tuo padre e tua madre e non uccidere

Non commettere adulterio e non rubare

Ama il tuo prossimo come te stesso e mostra la pace al tuo prossimo

Non desiderare la casa del tuo prossimo né alcuna cosa sua

Mosè mostrò queste parole di Dio a tutti i bambini presenti

Hanno tirato su i pali e si sono diretti alla ricerca della Terra Promessa

Che Mosè aveva descritto loro e raccontato di conforti lì

I bambini dell'oppressione pensavano di non trovare da nessuna parte

Ma presto si sarebbero separati da lui e avrebbero spinto da soli per un po'

Perché non è mai stato pensato per lui percorrere quell'ultimo miglio

I bambini hanno pianto perché dobbiamo andare su Mosè senza di te

Quindi parla con Dio ancora una volta e dicci cosa fare Vai a scalare quel monte Mosè
