New Friend - The Steal

You make trouble for yourself,

And then you turn to the cause.

I’m sick of forgiving these actions,

So just put your life on pause.

Then you try and justify,

Your reasoning behind,

You say It’s your job,

You work too much,

You need to unwind

I say you could have always come to me,

But instead you chose the drink,

To blur your unhappiness away.

So now you’ve got a new friend,

And it sure as hell ain’t me,

You feel more at ease when blinded,

Than dealing with what you know you see.

Time is called, it’s time to leave

But you need to party.

So you pick a guy and go to his,

You wont be happy in the morning.

You wake up with your head in hands,

Saying you’ll never drink again,

But you’ll be out in 12 hours time,

Doing the same thing.

I say you could have always come to me,

Sono stufo di perdonare queste azioni,

Quindi metti semplicemente in pausa la tua vita.

Poi provi a giustificare,

Il tuo ragionamento dietro,

Dici che è il tuo lavoro,

Lavori troppo,

Devi rilassarti

Io dico che avresti sempre potuto venire da me,

Ma invece hai scelto la bevanda,

Per offuscare la tua infelicità.

Quindi ora hai un nuovo amico,

E sicuramente non sono io,

Ti senti più a tuo agio quando sei accecato,

Che affrontare ciò che sai di vedere.

Il tempo è chiamato, è ora di partire

Ma devi fare festa.

Quindi scegli un ragazzo e vai dal suo,

Non sarai felice al mattino.

Ti svegli con la testa tra le mani,

Dicendo che non berrai mai più,

Ma sarai fuori tra 12 ore,

Fare la stessa cosa.

Io dico che avresti sempre potuto venire da me,

Ma invece hai scelto la bevanda,

Per offuscare la tua infelicità.

Quindi ora hai un nuovo amico,

E sicuramente non sono io,

Ti senti più a tuo agio quando sei accecato,

Che affrontare ciò che sai di vedere.
