Bored - The Summer Obsession

Hanging over a few lines

But, still I’m bored

Swallow pills and chase them down

And drink till I’m sore

Read a book to stay awake

But all the pages leave me wait for something great

My real friends say I’m waiting for what started long ago

And life is what you make of it

So come on now, let’s go

But still I’m bored lately,

Do you feel the same?

Being alive drives me crazy and this world’s insane

I go to a party

With an army of mindless fucks

No one’s doing anything

No one’s interesting, so what?

I go back home and write a poem

But all the words seem dumb

And I feel numb

Do you really expect me to believe what I can’t see?

Do you really think this was,

Really think this was mean to be?

Come on be straight

In sospeso su poche righe

Ma sono ancora annoiato

Ingoia le pillole e inseguile

E bevi finché non sono dolorante

Leggi un libro per restare sveglio

Ma tutte le pagine mi lasciano in attesa di qualcosa di eccezionale

I miei veri amici dicono che sto aspettando ciò che è iniziato molto tempo fa

E la vita è ciò che ne fai

Quindi dai adesso, andiamo

Ma ancora mi annoio ultimamente,

Tu provi lo stesso?

Essere vivo mi fa impazzire e impazzire questo mondo

Vado a una festa

Con un esercito di scopate senza cervello

Nessuno sta facendo nulla

Nessuno è interessante, quindi cosa?

Torno a casa e scrivo una poesia

Ma tutte le parole sembrano stupide

E mi sento insensibile

Dai sii dritto

Ti aspetti davvero che io creda a ciò che non riesco a vedere?

Pensi davvero che fosse cattivo?
