having my eyes ripped out would be a blessing-

to never have to see what i cannot reach.

why is it so hard for me to turn my back on myself?

forever stuck under the weight of this world,

and only because of my resistance.

I have the power to find my feet,

to stop this eroding earth.

but to rise in this would be an empty action-

as a dead tree still stands unaware.

is that truly power, or my fear?

per non dover mai vedere ciò che non riesco a raggiungere.

perché è così difficile per me voltare le spalle a me stesso?

per sempre bloccato sotto il peso di questo mondo,

e solo a causa della mia resistenza.

Ho il potere di trovare i miei piedi,

per fermare questa terra in erosione.

ma alzarsi in questo sarebbe un'azione vuota-

come un albero morto è ancora inconsapevole.

è questo vero potere o la mia paura?
