Yeah we was born sinners man, dead in the flesh

Unfamiliar with the Lord’s livin man, He bled to the death

But we love our sin instead of Him, we fans of the flesh

If you think I’m lyin man, put a man to the test

We all full of lies, full of pride, full of dirty lust

And we put our lives ahead of God’s Word we should trust

We all knew it was a dude above who made everything

But we run a way, love our ways, and never gave Him praise

But for some of us He made a way up out of this dilemma

He sent His Son, and he was strung out for wicked sinners

Now all we gotta do is trust upon the righteousness of Christ

And He got something new for us (What?), the righteousness of Christ

You may believe it man, but have you trusted in Him yet?

And realized your sinful life will thrust you into death?

And that you need Him cause in the flesh man is fadin

Time for self examination like you was the Dr and the patient

A lot of us claim to be believers but we slack in our walk

And we goin around everyday without our backs to the cross

And when it comes to servin Christ, we standin on the wall

But we say we Christian cause we went up for the altar call

That don’t mean that we believers, that don’t mean we saved from flames

If we ain’t workin for Him our faith is dead like it say in James

If it ain’t no better livin, we the same and steady sinnin

Just know that faith without fruit wasn’t faith from the beginnin

It’s a lot of kids that got it twisted thinking they saved

But homie they aint bout tha Fathers biz they sleep in they graves

And they gon be real disappointed man when they face judgement

And all along they though that they was saved, but they really wasn’t

Sin’s disgusting to the Father man, he can barely stand it

And the mark of the believer is keeping to His commandments

So if we content up in our sin, ain’t seekin Jesus

We really need to cause we may not even be believers

Non conoscendo l'uomo vivente del Signore, morì dissanguato

Ma amiamo il nostro peccato invece di Lui, noi fan della carne

Se pensi che io stia mentendo, metti un uomo alla prova

Siamo tutti pieni di bugie, pieni di orgoglio, pieni di sporca lussuria

E mettiamo la nostra vita davanti alla Parola di Dio di cui dovremmo fidarci

Sapevamo tutti che era un tipo superiore a fare tutto

Ma corriamo, amiamo le nostre vie e non Gli abbiamo mai lodato

Ma per alcuni di noi ha creato una via d'uscita da questo dilemma

Ha mandato suo Figlio, ed è stato preso per i peccatori malvagi

Ora tutto ciò che dobbiamo fare è confidare nella giustizia di Cristo

E ha qualcosa di nuovo per noi (cosa?), la giustizia di Cristo

Potresti crederci amico, ma ti sei già fidato di Lui?

E ti sei reso conto che la tua vita peccaminosa ti spingerà verso la morte?

E che tu abbia bisogno di Lui perché nella carne l'uomo sta svanendo

Tempo per l'autoesame come se fossi il dottore e il paziente

È tempo di autoesame, abbiamo bisogno di un autoesame

Molti di noi affermano di essere credenti, ma il nostro cammino è lento

E andiamo in giro tutti i giorni senza dare le spalle alla croce

E quando si tratta di servire Cristo, stiamo sul muro

Ma diciamo che siamo cristiani perché siamo saliti per la chiamata all'altare

Ciò non significa che siamo credenti, ciò non significa che ci siamo salvati dalle fiamme

Se non lavoriamo per Lui, la nostra fede è morta come si dice in Giacomo

Se non non è una vita migliore, siamo lo stesso e costante peccato

Sappi solo che la fede senza frutto non era fede fin dall'inizio

Sono molti bambini che l'hanno contorto pensando di aver salvato

Ma amico, non sono legati al fatto che i padri dormono nelle loro tombe

E saranno veri uomini delusi quando affronteranno il giudizio

E per tutto il tempo hanno pensato di essere stati salvati, ma in realtà non lo erano

Il peccato è disgustoso per l'uomo Padre, riesce a malapena a sopportarlo

E il segno del credente è l'osservanza dei suoi comandamenti

Quindi se ci accontentiamo del nostro peccato, non stiamo cercando Gesù

Abbiamo davvero bisogno di farlo perché potremmo non essere nemmeno credenti
