People are crawling on their knees

Mass consumption their disease

They try to keep their families safe

From threats created by the state

And as the years go rolling by

They slowly start to lose their rights

They’re taught to bill to fill their needs

Becoming slaves to a false dream

Blind to the world that they belong

Sure that they can do no wrong

Distracted from reality

What will it take for them to see?

They’re buying all that’s being sold

Believing all that’s being told

Not knowing what they truly need

Because they’re slaves to a false dream
