Stormbringer - Weeping Silence

A storm gathers on the horizon

A cold wind bellows in the night

Trees whisper a woe

Their leaves gather at my feet

In this silence I can’t conceive

Under the moonlit sky, it’s the death of me

This threat grows in the distance

Ominous to take you away from me

But I shall not turn my gaze away

Nor shall I walk the bitter road away from you

Winter hath not darken’d the skies for us

The storm is velvet embraced

Its chill saddens my waking hour

What can I do in its misery?

How can I yearn for life?

In this silence I can’t conceive
