I’ve been down with Jesus since Sunday school &Easter speeches

The Bible was survival, that’s what my grandma would teach us

Since I was 5, I’ve been dying and trying to read it When I did I did,

it redefined it

Now you was 34 when you found Jesus after your life fell to pieces

Wife two times, with two guys, now enlightened in speeches

Seemed to flow out your mouth with the hype of a preacher

Took your whole life to reach you, now I’m a trifling creature

Come on, if I die right this second, I reckon that God would simply check

into my life &times, dissecting my rhymes, he’ll see how I’ve been leading his

troops

You can’t do dirt your whole life then say «oops'!

Now where was Jesus, when you life then you was cheatin', when you was

deceiving me?

Where was Jesus when you greedy, your lawyers was bleeding me?

Where was Jesus when every weekend, a new man living with you?

Oh, wait he was with me, trying to keep me from killing you!

Now, where was Jesus when you was lying &you was betraying me?

The reason why I never write verses with curses inside

The reason I never purposely hurt persons,

I’ve applied many teaching of God,

Searching the reaches of God

Pondered the mysteries of why you be dissing me,

I adore you all I hope for you is freedom from misery

You made mistakes &blunders, you breaking from under

But yo, If I’m going to hell, it’s making me wonder.

The greatest atrocities ever committed on this planet have been in the

name of God

This country was founded by Puritans, for the expressed purpose of

oppression-free worship

Your attitude is the same arrogant, fearful fundamentalism that fueled the

hatred of the Crusades

&the attacks on 9/11.

If we are not allowed to worship God as groups &individuals free from

persecution, in respectful

di mezza età, rinato, non vedo l'ora di dirlo, se non credo a ciò che credi,

Andrò all'inferno…

Sono stato con Gesù dalla scuola domenicale e dai discorsi di Pasqua

La Bibbia era la sopravvivenza, ecco cosa ci avrebbe insegnato mia nonna

Da quando avevo 5 anni, muoio e cerco di leggerlo quando l'ho fatto, l'ho fatto,

lo ha ridefinito

Ora avevi 34 anni quando hai trovato Gesù dopo che la tua vita è andata in frantumi

Moglie due volte, con due ragazzi, ora illuminata nei discorsi

Sembrava uscire dalla tua bocca con il clamore di un predicatore

Ci hai messo tutta la vita per raggiungerti, ora sono una creatura insignificante

Andiamo, se muoio in questo momento, credo che Dio si limiterebbe a controllare

nella mia vita e nei miei tempi, sezionando le mie rime, vedrà come ho condotto le sue

truppe

Non puoi sporcarti per tutta la vita e poi dire "oops"!

Ora dov'era Gesù, quando eri in vita allora stavi barando, quando eri

ingannandomi?

Dov'era Gesù quando voi avidi, i vostri avvocati mi sanguinavano?

Dov'era Gesù quando ogni fine settimana, un uomo nuovo viveva con te?

Oh, aspetta che fosse con me, cercando di impedirmi di ucciderti!

Ora, dov'era Gesù quando tu mentevi e mi tradivi?

Quando stavo cercando di farcela, mi odiavi ritardare, eh?

Se non conosco Gesù, non posso dire dove sarei

Mi sforzo sempre di essere giusto, la mia versione di Dio

Il motivo per cui non scrivo mai versi con dentro maledizioni

Il motivo per cui non ho mai fatto del male alle persone di proposito,

Ho applicato molti insegnamenti di Dio,

Alla ricerca dei confini di Dio

Ho riflettuto sui misteri del perché mi stai insultando,

Ti adoro tutto ciò che spero per te sia la libertà dalla miseria

Hai fatto errori e abbagli, ti sei rotto da sotto

Ma yo, se vado all'inferno, mi chiedo.

Le più grandi atrocità mai commesse su questo pianeta sono state nel 

nome di Dio

Questo paese è stato fondato da puritani, con lo scopo espresso di

culto senza oppressione

Il tuo atteggiamento è lo stesso fondamentalismo arrogante e timoroso che ha alimentato il

odio per le crociate

&gli attacchi dell'11 settembre.

Se non siamo autorizzati ad adorare Dio come gruppi e individui liberi da

persecuzione, nel rispetto

Tolleranza, c'è un solo risultato...
